an attempt at something normal...although it seems like it's going geek again oh well
So I'm not on my laptop, I'm on my dad's computer while watching I love the 70's Volume 2 1975. Wooo hooooT! to the mention of Rocky Horror Picture Show! Wow I haven't seen that movie or heard the songs in a while now. I'm very tempted to drag out my vhs of it. I swear these i love the (insert decade) on vh1 are sublimonal. Some of this stuff I don't remember but it's fun watching the comedians talk about the stuff. Ooo sit and spin! Remember those? I loved loved LOVED my sit and spin when I was young.

So who's excited about Clerks 2 coming out? I can't wait to see the Kevin Smith magic again! It's nice that he's writing for jay and silent bob and the gang instead of all these serious-ish movies as of late. I really hope this and another kick ass comedy will be in the drive in! I haven't been to the drive in this summer yet.

other movies I gotta see:
Pirates of Carribean 2
Little Man
John Tucker Must Die (MIGUEL IS IN IT PASSIONS FANS)

some other possibles although they'll probably wait for dvd
My Super Ex Girlfriend (though I don't think I'll waste ticket money on that, dvd wait, but for some reason I kind of want to see these cheesy girl flick, just looks funny)
Lady in the Water- I wasn't sure about this one, but it is by the sixth sense guy and that movie and others are very good
Monster House- though again another dvd wait
You, Me and Dupree- always up for Owen Wilson I just love him! Although Ben Stiller and Owen should do more movie duo's together the chemistry they have is wow!

But number 1 priority! CLERKS 2!
BRING IT ON BYOTCH!

especially when a line in the trailer "your 32 and still working as a clerk?" I didn't know for sure if the characters were around my age, older and younger, but as it turns out they are right smack in the thirtysomething years!
wow Jay and silent bob truly serves my generation
thank you Kevin thank you!

Oh, really? If I remember correctly, Dante was something like 25 or so in the first movie (Looked it up; he was in his early 20's in the first movie). Yeah; looks like Clerks II'll take place about 10 years after the first movie, so yeah. Looks like they weren't in Clerks, but will be in the next one!

Confused, you saying it's not the same actors as the ones in Clerks?
I thought it was the same guys.

so I wonder if he's even supposed to be here today...

"i'm not even supposed to be here today!...AGAIN!"

No, what I was saying was that, while the characters are (or will be) around your age in Clerks II, they weren't in Clerks. Dante had been working at the convenience store for three years right after he graduated high school, so he was in his early 20's during the first movie.

ok yeah that's what i meant.

when clerks started in 1994 I was 21
Hence I was always the age of the jay and silent bob generation
that feels cool to me :)
